Soil Organic Matter Content Retrieval from Hyperspectral Remote Sensing in Western Jilin, China
نویسندگان
چکیده
The analysis and forecast of the distribution and dynamics of soil organic matter (SOM) content is an essential requirement for sustainable land management, especially in Western Jilin, where the saline-alkalized land increased at a very fast rate per year and is in desperate need of improving soil. Compared to conventional analytical methods, hyperspectral remote sensing is faster, cheaper, non-destructive and has the potential to analyze various soil properties simultaneously, such as soil carbon, soil organic matter, and various other soil properties . A number of linear and nonlinear models have been developed for determining the soil properties on soil spectra with different accuracy . In this study, more interest was laid in detecting the sensitive bands position of SOM and a particular algorithm spectroscopists had been using was introduced and adapted to remote sensing spectral analysis successfully. Finally, a simple stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was used to produce the prediction model.

Monitoring of organic matter and soil salinity by using IRS - LissIII satellite data in the Harat plain, of Yazd province
Current study monitored Electerical Conductivity (EC) as soil salinity index and Organic Matter (OM) in the area of Harat in Yazd, Iran, through remote sensing technology with high spatial and spectral resolution. The images were selected from IRS, LISS III satellites between the years 2008 and 2012. After preprocessing and analyzing the images, the relationship between parameters of (EC) an...
متن کاملQuantitative Mapping of Soil Organic Material Using Field Spectrometer and Hyperspectral Remote Sensing
Mapping and dating soil organic material is of great importance in soil use and evaluation. Yet the most common mapping method of these features is based on visual, qualitative interpretation of air-photos. In this study we examine the feasibility of mapping soil organic material content by using airborne hyperspectral reflective remote sensing methodology. This technique was tested in Henshan ...
متن کاملBand Selection Method for Retrieving Soil Lead Content with Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Data
Hyperspectral data offers a powerful tool for predicting soil heavy metal contamination due to its high spectral resolution and many continuous bands. However, band selection is the prerequisite to accurately invert and predict soil heavy metal concentration by hyperspectral data. In this paper, 181 soil samples were collected from the suburb of Nanjing City, and their reflectance spectra and s...
متن کاملVariation of Routine Soil Analysis When Compared with Hyperspectral Narrow Band Sensing Method
The objectives of this research were to: (i) develop hyperspectral narrow-band models to determine soil variables such as organic matter content (OM), sum of cations (SC = Ca + Mg + K), aluminum saturation (m%), cations saturation (V%), cations exchangeable capacity (CEC), silt, sand and clay content using visible-near infrared (Vis-NIR) diffuse reflectance spectra; (ii) compare the variations ...
متن کاملContent Based Hyperspectral Image Retrieval: A Systematic Review
Hyperspectral imaging comprises the technologies that incorporates remote sensing and analysis of an object or specific area of the earth at different distances with very large number of bands. Currently, a wide range of hyperspectral data sets are obtained continuously, in addition to conventional multispectral remote sensing images, and presented to users by institutions for both commercial a...
