چکیده

In a recent work, a new regulator of the output of a continuous autocatalytic bioprocess, by means of recirculation loop, has been presented. It was shown that controlling the recirculation flow rate allows the stabilization of the output in presence of an uncontrolled input flow rate. In the present paper, we extend this result when the input substrate concentration is unknown. For this purpose, we propose the design of an observer of the input concentration which, coupled with a slightly different control law reminiscent of the one used in the case where the input concentration is known, guarantees the regulation of the output. About Feedback Stabilization of Continuous Bioprocesses through Recirculation

In this paper, we propose to regulate the output of an autocatalytic bioprocess by means of a recirculation loop. We show that controlling the recirculation flow rate allows the stabilization of a particular output under a constant or even an unknown input flow. Furthermore, we obtain a convergence in finite time with a smooth feedback law Copyright c ©2005 IFAC.

ADAPTIVE FUZZY OUTPUT FEEDBACK TRACKING CONTROL FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR TIME-VARYING DELAY SYSTEMS WITH UNKNOWN BACKLASH-LIKE HYSTERESIS

This paper considers the problem of adaptive output feedback tracking control for a class of nonstrict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown time-varying delays and unknown backlash-like hysteresis. Fuzzy logic systems are used to estimate the unknown nonlinear functions. Based on the Lyapunov–Krasovskii method, the control scheme is constructed by using the backstepping and adaptive techniqu...

Adaptive Neural Network Method for Consensus Tracking of High-Order Mimo Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems

This paper is concerned with the consensus tracking problem of high order MIMO nonlinear multi-agent systems. The agents must follow a leader node in presence of unknown dynamics and uncertain external disturbances. The communication network topology of agents is assumed to be a fixed undirected graph. A distributed adaptive control method is proposed to solve the consensus problem utilizing re...

Potentials of Evolving Linear Models in Tracking Control Design for Nonlinear Variable Structure Systems

Evolving models have found applications in many real world systems. In this paper, potentials of the Evolving Linear Models (ELMs) in tracking control design for nonlinear variable structure systems are introduced. At first, an ELM is introduced as a dynamic single input, single output (SISO) linear model whose parameters as well as dynamic orders of input and output signals can change through ...

Tracking Control of Uncertain Non - Iinear MIMO System Using Modified Sliding Surfaces for Attitude Large Maneuver of Satellites on Orbit

Designing a robust tracking control for a non-linear MIMO system with uncertainty is one of the most complicated control problems. In this paper, sliding mode changed to non-linear controllable canonical form by input-output linearization. This, sliding surfaces can be defined in a way that we can de-couple equations and indicate the sliding conditions of multi-variable controller system. The u...
