چکیده

Previous timing data for PSR B1620−26 were consistent with a second companion mass m 2 anywhere in the range ∼ 10 −3 − 1 M ⊙ , i.e., from a Jupiter-type planet to a star. We present the latest timing parameters for the system, including a significant change in the projected semi-major axis of the inner binary, a marginal detection of the fourth time derivative of the pulse frequency, and the pulsar proper motion (which is in agreement with published values for the proper motion of M4), and use them to further constrain the mass m 2 and the orbital parameters. Using the observed value of ....

We present measurements of the true masses and orbital inclinations of the two Earth-mass planets in the PSR B1257+12 system, based on the analysis of their mutual gravitational perturbations detectable as microsecond variations of the arrival times of radio pulses from the pulsar. The 6.2-millisecond pulsar, PSR B1257+12, has been regularly timed with the Arecibo telescope since late 1990. Ass...

Deshpande & Rankin (1999, 2001) claim that the frequency of the very narrow feature, in the spectrum of radio flux variations of PSR B0943+10, is an alias of its actual value. They also claim to have detected an amplitude modulation on the above phase modulation. This paper argues that both these claims are unjustified.

We suggest new evolutionary scenarios for non-magnetic short orbital period CVs. The first model is the analogy of the 'hibernation scenario' or the 'modern hibernation scenario'. The second one is an extension of Mukai & Naylor (1995) ideas. All models imply a tight connection between permanent superhump systems and classical novae. We highlight the significance of the observed evolution of V1...
