Joint Specific Emitter Identification and Location Tracking for Ofdm Systems

We propose an algorithm to estimate the transmitter nonlinearities for specific emitter identification (SEI) and location tracking in multipath environment. Each emitter contains a set of unique nonlinearity coefficients due to variations in design, packaging, and fabrication. The algorithm fuses estimates from multiple sensors for performance improvement. Furthermore, we develop a mobile station location tracking algorithm based on the nonlinearity estimates resulting from the location dependent transmit power variation. The method is simulated over a grid-based city map using an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) system.
