Nevus comedonicus is an uncommon skin abnormality characterized by an aggregation of dilated follicular orifices filled with keratinous material. Nevus comedonicus is occasionally complicated with other conditions including cataracts, skeletal defects, central nervous system abnormalities or other extra-cutaneous diseases (nevus comedonicus syndrome). متن کاملLinear scleroderma along Blaschko's lines in a patient with systematized morphea.
We have previously shown that frontoparietal scleroderma en coup de sabre, a type of linear scleroderma that affects the face and scalp, follows the lines of Blaschko, but the question whether linear scleroderma that occurs in the limbs follows Blaschko's lines has not been answered. We describe the case of a 4-year-old girl with multiple morphea showing remarkable unilateral systematized distr...

It manifests as a group of closely dilated follicular openings with dark keratin plugs resembling comedones. Both unilateral and bilateral distributions are seen. The face is the most commonly affected site ...
متن کاملMultiple Large Cysts Arising from Nevus Comedonicus
Nevus comedonicus is a type of hamartoma that arises from a developmental anomaly of the mesodermal part of the pilosebaceous gland. In most cases of nevus comedonicus, an acne-like skin condition develops. Repeated inflammation can cause a morphological change to the cyst, papule, to abscess. We experienced a case of congenital nevus comedonicus, which led to the formation of large multiple cy...
