Plasma Dynamics and Plasma Wall Interaction
نویسنده
چکیده
High power and particle deposition on target materials are encountered in many applications including magnetic and inertial fusion devices, nuclear and high energy physics applications, and laser and discharge produced plasma devices. Surface and structural damage to plasma-facing components due to the frequent loss of plasma confinement remains a serious problem for the Tokamak reactor concept. The deposited plasma energy causes significant surface erosion, possible structural failure, and frequent plasma contamination. The chamber walls in inertial fusion energy (IFE) reactors are also exposed to harsh conditions following each target implosion. Key issues include intense photon and ion deposition, wall thermal and hydrodynamic evolution, wall erosion and fatigue lifetime, and chamber clearing and evacuation to ensure desirable conditions prior to next target implosion. Both Laser and Discharge produced plasma are being used as a light source for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography. A key challenge for Discharge Produced Plasma (DPP) and laser produced plasma (LPP) devices is achieving sufficient brightness to support the throughput requirements of High-Volume Manufacturing lithography exposure tools. An integrated model for the description of hydrodynamics and optical processes in a DPP device has been developed, integrated. And benchmarked. Modeling Of Blood Vessel Constriction In 2-D Case Using Molecular Dynamics Method
Blood vessel constriction is simulated with particle-based method using a molecular dynamics authoring software known as Molecular Workbench (WM). Blood flow and vessel wall, the only components considered in constructing a blood vessel, are all represented in particle form with interaction potentials: Lennard-Jones potential, push-pull spring potential, and bending spring potential. Influence ...

Some of the most recent results obtained in theoretical studies on the dynamics of elementary gas±surface processes are presented and discussed. In particular, we give examples of the importance of electronic structure calculations, classical and semiclassical dynamics simulations for understanding the fundamental features of surface reactions relating to plasma processing and plasma-wall inter...
متن کاملModeling of dielectric barrier discharge and resulting fluid dynamics
Glow discharge at atmospheric pressure using a dielectric barrier discharge can induce fluid flow, and operate as an actuator in flow control. In the present work, a modeling framework is presented to study the evolution and interaction of such athermal non-equilibrium plasma discharges in conjunction with low Mach number fluid dynamics. Under atmospheric pressure, the discharge can be simulate...

متن کاملEffect of Pioglitazone on Plasma Levels of Phenytoin in Rats
Introduction: Interaction between drugs represents a major clinical concern for health care professionals and their patients. Patients affected by both type 2 diabetes and epilepsy may be prescribed pioglitazone and an anti-epileptic drug such as phenytoin concurrently. The aim of this study was to consider the interaction of pioglitazone with phenytoin in an experimental model. According to t...
متن کاملDetermination of the effect of the interaction between Ghrelin and serotonin agonist (R)-8-OH-DPAT on the mean plasma concentrations of T3 & T4 in rat
Introduction: Previous studies have shown that ghrelin inhibits the activity of Hypothalamus –Pituitary – Thyroid (H–P-T) axis. It is also proved that ghrelin increases appetite via Agouti Related Protein and neuropeptide Y pathway, decreases T3 & T4 secretion and inhibits serotonin release from hypothalamic synaptosomes. Serotonin may interact with ghrelin in control of thyroid hormones secr...
