چکیده

AC induction motors become very popular for motion control applications due to their simple and reliable construction. Control of drives based on AC induction motors is a quite complex task. Provided the vector control algorithm is used we need to know not only the rotor speed but also the position of the magnetic flux inside the motor during the control process. In most applications the magnetic flux phasor position has to be calculated. But there are also applications in which even speed sensors should be omitted. In such a situation, we have to solve the task of state reconstruction only from voltage and currents measurements. In the current paper, we present a method based on deterministic evaluation of measurement using the state observer based on Lyapunov function. The rotor resistance estimation is also discussed as it is one of main problems in AC induction machine speed estimation. Copyright c 2005 IFAC

A Current-Based Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Speed Sensorless Induction Machine Drive Using Adaptive Sliding Mode Flux Observer

This paper presents a new adaptive Sliding-Mode flux observer for speed sensorless and rotor flux control of three-phase induction motor (IM) drives. The motor drive is supplied by a three-level space vector modulation (SVM) inverter. Considering the three-phase IM Equations in a stator stationary two axis reference frame, using the partial feedback linearization control and Sliding-Mode (SM) c...

Speed Sensorless Field-Oriented Control of Induction Motor with Rotor Resistance Adaptation

Several field-oriented induction motor drive methods without rotational transducers have been proposed. These methods have a disadvantage that the rotor resistance variation causes an estimation error of the motor speed. Therefore, simultaneous estimation of the motor speed and the rotor resistance is required. This paper presents a method of estimating simultaneously the motor speed and the ro...

Sensorless Exact Input-Output Linearization Control of the Induction Machine, Based on Parallel Stator Resistance and Speed MRAS Observer, with a Flux Sliding Mode Observer

Abstract: This paper presents an exact input-output linearization control scheme for rotor speed and rotor flux control of induction motor drive. In this scheme the motor model, is described in the fixed stator frame, and it is linearized, using exact inputoutput linearization technique, allowing a decoupled control of rotor flux and torque. To avoid the use of mechanical sensor, the rotor spee...
