Asynchronous Design: Working the Fast Lane
نویسنده
چکیده
Two years later, we are on the verge of a breakthrough into Philips Product Divisions and now the spot-light is on testing. So far, we fabricated, tested, and characterized about 10 asynchronous IC designs. Recently, we developed a test method which is competitive with modern synchronous test methods in quality and test time [2, 3]. Tangram is poised for CAT success (and in need of a new catch-phrase).

The Impact of Mediational Artifact Types on EFL Learners’ Writing Complexity: Collaboration vs. Asynchronous Artifacts
The present study was an attempt to investigate the significance of environmental changes on the develo p- ment of writing in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) context with respect to the individual. This study also compared the impacts of collaboration and asynchronous computer mediation (ACM) on the writing complexity of EFL learners. To this end, three intact writing classes were designate...
متن کاملDeveloping an Analytical Model and Simulation of The Contraflow Left-Turn Lane at Signalized Intersections
At some intersections, excessive queue lengths may spill out of the left-turn bay and block the through lanes, jeopardizing level of service for the entire intersection. One of the most effective plans recently presented by the researchers is the "Contraflow left-turn lane" (CLL) In this method, left-turn vehicles will use the nearest lane in the opposite direction in addition to the usual left...
متن کاملModular Asynchronous Network-on-Chip: Application to GALS Systems Rapid Prototyping
This paper presents an innovating methodology for fast and easy design of Asynchronous Network-on-Chips (ANoCs) dedicated to GALS systems. A topologyindependent building-block approach permits to design modular, scalable and reliable ANoCs with low-power and low-complexity requirements. A crossbar generator is added to the existing design flow for fast system architecture exploration. A multi-c...
متن کاملLane Change Trajectory Model Considering the Driver Effects Based on MANFIS
The lane change maneuver is among the most popular driving behaviors. It is also the basic element of important maneuvers like overtaking maneuver. Therefore, it is chosen as the focus of this study and novel multi-input multi-output adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system models (MANFIS) are proposed for this behavior. These models are able to simulate and predict the future behavior of a Dri...
متن کاملSynchronization in Asynchronously Communicating Digital Systems
Two digital systems working in different clock domains require a protocol to communicate with each other in order to ensure validity of the data being shared between the two systems. Such systems are said to be asynchronous, and the protocol used for communication is said to synchronize the two systems. Asynchronous design techniques are not as widely used as synchronous design techniques are. ...
