Realizations of su ( 1 , 1 ) and U q ( su ( 1 , 1 ) ) and generating functions for orthogonal polynomials

چکیده
Positive discrete series representations of the Lie algebra su(1, 1) and the quantum algebra U q (su(1, 1)) are considered. The diagonalization of a self-adjoint operator (the Hamiltonian) in these representations and in tensor products of such representations is determined , and the generalized eigenvectors are constructed in terms of orthogonal polynomials. Using simple realizations of su(1, 1), U q (su(1, 1)), and their representations, these generalized eigenvectors are shown to coincide with generating functions for orthogonal polynomials. The relations valid in the tensor product representations then give rise to new generating functions for orthogonal polynomials, or to Poisson kernels. In particular, a group theoretical derivation of the Poisson kernel for Meixner-Pollaczak and Al-Salam–Chihara polynomials is obtained.

Complex Analytic Realizations for Quantum Algebras
A method for obtaining complex analytic realizations for a class of deformed algebras based on their respective deformation mappings and their ordinary coherent states is introduced. Explicit results of such realizations are provided for the cases of the q-oscillators (q-WeylHeisenberg algebra) and for the suq(2) and suq(1, 1) algebras and their co-products. They are given in terms of a series ...
متن کاملA ug 1 99 6 8 LECTURES ON QUANTUM GROUPS AND q - SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
The lecture notes contains an introduction to quantum groups, q-special functions and their interplay. After generalities on Hopf algebras, orthogonal polynomials and basic hypergeometric series we work out the relation between the quantum SU(2) group and the Askey-Wilson polynomials out in detail as the main example. As an application we derive an addition formula for a two-parameter subfamily...

We present an explicit product formula for the spherical functions of the compact Gelfand pairs (G,K1) = (SU(p+ q), SU(p)× SU(q)) with p ≥ 2q, which can be considered as the elementary spherical functions of one-dimensional K-type for the Hermitian symmetric spaces G/K with K = S(U(p)× U(q)). Due to results of Heckman, they can be expressed in terms of Heckman-Opdam Jacobi polynomials of type B...
متن کاملq – Schrödinger Equations for V = u 2 + 1 / u 2 and Morse Potentials in terms of the q – canonical Transformation
The realizations of the Lie algebra corresponding to the dynamical symmetry group SO(2, 1) of the Schrödinger equations for the Morse and the V = u2 +1/u2 potentials were known to be related by a canonical transformation. q–deformed analog of this transformation connecting two different realizations of the slq(2) algebra is presented. By the virtue of the q–canonical transformation a q–deformed...
