Visiting All Sites with Your Dog

چکیده
Given a polygonal curve P , a pointset S, and an ε > 0, we study the problem of finding a polygonal curve Q whose vertices are from S and has a Fréchet distance less or equal to ε to curve P . In this problem, Q must visit every point in S and we are allowed to reuse points of pointset in building Q. First, we show that this problem in NP-Complete. Then, we present a polynomial time algorithm for a special cases of this problem, when P is a convex polygon.

To characterize the skin-associated fungal microbiota (mycobiota) in dogs, and to evaluate the influence of body site, individual dog or health status on the distribution of fungi, next-generation sequencing was performed targeting the internal transcribed spacer region. A total of 10 dogs with no history of skin disease were sampled at 10 distinct body sites consisting of haired and mucosal sk...
متن کاملNest Predation on Black-Tailed Prairie Dog Colonies
Nest predation is the principal cause of mortaliv for many grassland birds. Predation rates may be higher on prairie dog colonies because they may have less available nesting cover and may increase predator abundance. We compared 14-day nest predation rates for 1,764 artificial nests on 102 black-tailed prairie dog (Cynovnys ludovicianus) colonies and their paired off-colony sites (similar habi...
