A Novel Steroid from Stem Bark of Alstonia Scholaris

A new steroid, 3-hydroxy adiantulanosterol (5), together with four known compounds, were isolated from the stem bark of Alstonia scholaris. All structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods.
