Implicit Culture Framework for Behavior Transfer
نویسندگان
چکیده
People belong to different communities: business communities, Web 2.0 communities, just to name a few. In this chapter we show that experience acquired by people in communities constitute community culture. We introduce the problem of culture transfer between or within communities and propose a domain-independent approach for transferring community culture. First, we formalize the notion of culture, which includes behavior, knowledge, artifacts, best practices, etc. Second, using this formalism, we propose the Implicit Culture Framework, which is an agent-based framework for transferring behavior between community members or between communities. Finally, we present and evaluate a system for web service discovery developed using the Implicit Culture Framework.

Implicit Culture Framework for Behavior Transfer. Definition, Implementation and Applications
People belong to different communities: business communities, Web 2.0 communities, religious communities, scientific communities, just to name a few. Everyone can belong to and acquire experience in more than one community. This experience is related to the community activity and comes in the form of best practices, behavior, implicit (tacit) knowledge, ways of using artifacts, etc. All these a...
متن کاملسوگیری حافظه ناآشکار و آشکار در افراد افسرده بر اساس پردازش انتقال مناسب
The aim of the present research was to examine implicit and explicit memory bias in depressed individuals based on the Transfer Appropriate Processing (TAP) framework. For this purpose, 60 participants (30 outpatient depressed participants for the experimental group and 30 non-depressed participants for the control group) were selected as research sample based on psychiatric interviews of DSM-I...
متن کاملA Multi-Agent Framework for Decision Support and Implicit Knowledge Transfer
Groups, or communities of people have knowledge specific to the environment in which they act, and independently of changes, the behavior of community members must be preserved. For example, the process of software release should not depend on the people currently working in the company [10]. Alternatively, groups of agents can benefit from using the knowledge of other groups. For example, PhD ...
متن کاملApplying a full implicit finite-difference method in jet impingement heat transfer studies
Jet impingement heat transfer is an effective and practical approach that is employed in many industrial processes where heating, cooling, or drying is required. Details of the heat or mass transfer rate have been investigated both experimentally and numerically and can be found in the published literature. In most of the numerical studies, control-volume approach has been employed to solve the...
متن کاملA Multi-agent System for Knowledge Management based on the Implicit Culture Framework
We present an implementation of a multi-agent system that aims at solving the problem of tacit knowledge transfer by means of experiences sharing. In particular, we consider experiences of use of pieces of information. Each agent incorporates a system for implicit culture support (SICS) whose goal is to realize the acceptance of the suggested information. The SICS permits a transparent (implici...
