Etiological studies in many parts ot the world have revealed that many lungi nlay he intolced. As early as 1447, 53 diftcrent \pecic\ had been iniplicated.2 Otoniycosis is not an uncommon problem in Malayjia, but little has been done in the way of characterisation of the etiological agents. This report presents a rcvicw of the species of fungi isolated t'ronl suspected cases of otolnycosis over a period of' twelve years to allow some indication ol the 1'~lngi that arc encountered in otonlycoses inthis country.
