چکیده

Optimizing risk assessment may reduce use of advanced diagnostic testing in patients with symptoms suggestive of stable coronary artery disease (CAD). Detection of diastolic murmurs from post-stenotic coronary turbulence with an acoustic sensor placed on the chest wall can serve as an easy, safe, and low-cost supplement to assist in the diagnosis of CAD. Coronary artery disease (CAD) accounts for approximately 30% of the deaths in the European Union. The detection of diastolic murmurs from post-stenosis coronary turbulence reported already proposed for safe, cost-effective, and easy non-invasive evaluation of patients with suspected CAD. In the existing system, the system shown that heart sound contain weak murmurs caused by turbulent flow in the coronary arteries, and that those murmurs are indicators of CAD. In this project the system proposed a method for noninvasive detection of CAD with a commercially available electronic stethoscope. Three different approaches were used for analyses of the frequency distribution of the diastole periods: parametric spectral modeling, instantaneous frequency and the power in third octave frequency bands. using the quadrature discreminant analysis identifying the CAD.

Diagnosis of Coronary Artery Disease using Neuro-fuzzy-based Method

Background & Aim: Coronary artery disease is one of the most common diseases in different societies. Coronary angiography is established as one of the best methods for diagnosis of this disease. Angiography is an invasive and costly method. Furthermore, it is associated with risks such as death, heart attack, and stroke. Thus, this study introduces a neuro-fuzzy-based method which can help the ...

The Effect of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction on Anxiety and Stress in Patients with Coronary Heart Disease after Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery: A Single-Subject Study

Background and objectives: Coronary artery disease (CAD) is associated with negative emotions of anger and stress, which are one of the nonclinical risk factors of the disease. Therefore, evaluation of the effective therapeutic models alleviating the patients’ negative emotions is of paramount importance. This study aimed to examine the effect of mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) on ang...

Discrimination of Golab apple storage time using acoustic impulse response and LDA and QDA discriminant analysis techniques

ABSTRACT- Firmness is one of the most important quality indicators for apple fruits, which is highly correlated with the storage time. The acoustic impulse response technique is one of the most commonly used nondestructive detection methods for evaluating apple firmness. This paper presents a non-destructive method for classification of Iranian apple (Malus domestica Borkh. cv. Golab) according...

Comparison of Classifiers and Statistical Analysis for EEG Signals Used in Brain Computer Interface Motor Task Paradigm

Using the EEG Motor Movement/Imagery database there is proposed an off-line analysis for a brain computer interface (BCI) paradigm. The purpose of the quantitative research is to compare classifier in order to determinate which of them has highest rates of classification. The power spectral density method is used to evaluate the (de)synchronizations that appear on Mu rhythm. The features extrac...
