2 Design of Direct Digital Modulation Transmitter

چکیده
The main functions of a WSN transmitter are to modulate the base band data onto an RF carrier, amplify the modulated signal and to provide matching to the antenna for efficient power delivery into the free space. It requires low radiated power due to shorter communication distance, low data rate with low power consumption and fast wake up time. These unique specifications require modification of the design methodology, transmitter architectures, circuit techniques and new enabling technologies to achieve an ultra low power WSN transmitter.
