چکیده

To any finite group G SL2ðCÞ and each element t in the center of the group algebra of G, we associate a category, CohðP G;t ;PÞ: It is defined as a suitable quotient of the category of graded modules over (a graded version of) the deformed preprojective algebra introduced by Crawley-Boevey and Holland. The category CohðP G;t ;PÞ should be thought of as the category of coherent sheaves on a ‘noncommutative projective space’, P G;t ; equipped with a framing at P, the line at infinity. Our first result establishes an isomorphism between the moduli space of torsion free objects of CohðP G;t ;PÞ and the Nakajima quiver variety arising from G via the McKay correspondence. We apply the above isomorphism to deduce a generalization of the Crawley-Boevey and Holland conjecture, saying that the moduli space of ‘rank 1’ projective modules over the deformed preprojective algebra is isomorphic to a particular quiver variety. This reduces, for G 1⁄4 f1g, to the recently obtained parametrisation of the isomorphism classes of right ideals in the first Weyl algebra, A1, by points of the Calogero– Moser space, due to Cannings and Holland and Berest and Wilson. Our approach is algebraic and is based on a monadic description of torsion free sheaves on P G;t . It is totally different from the one used by Berest and Wilson, involving t-functions. Quiver Representations in Toric Geometry

This article is based on my lecture notes from summer schools at the Universities of Utah (June 2007) and Warwick (September 2007). We provide an introduction to explicit methods in the study of moduli spaces of quiver representations and derived categories arising in toric geometry. The first main goal is to present the noncommutative geometric approach to semiprojective toric varieties via qu...

Quivers in Representation Theory (18.735, Spring

Quivers are directed graphs. The term is the term used in representation theory, which goes along with the following notion: a representation of a quiver is an assignment of vector spaces to vertices and linear maps between the vector spaces to the arrows. Quivers appear in many areas of mathematics: (1) Algebraic geometry (Hilbert schemes, moduli spaces (represent these as varieties of quiver ...

S ep 2 01 4 DIAGRAM AUTOMORPHISMS OF QUIVER VARIETIES

We show that the fixed-point subvariety of a Nakajima quiver variety under a diagram automorphism is a disconnected union of quiver varieties for the ‘split-quotient quiver’ introduced by Reiten and Riedtmann. As a special case, quiver varieties of type D arise as the connected components of fixed-point subvarieties of diagram involutions of quiver varieties of type A. In the case where the qui...

Using subvarieties, which we call Demazure quiver varieties, of the quiver varieties of Nakajima, we give a geometric realization of Demazure modules of Kac-Moody algebras with symmetric Cartan data. We give a natural geometric characterization of the extremal weights of a representation and show that Lusztig's semicanonical basis is compatible with the filtration of a representation by Demazur...

Quiver Varieties and Beilinson-drinfeld Grassmannians of Type A

We construct Nakajima’s quiver varieties of type A in terms of conjugacy classes of matrices and (non-Slodowy’s) transverse slices naturally arising from affine Grassmannians. In full generality quiver varieties are embedded into Beilinson-Drinfeld Grassmannians of type A. Our construction provides a compactification of Nakajima’s quiver varieties and a decomposition of an affine Grassmannian i...
