چکیده
The present paper concerns itself with the applications of statistical methods to some number-theoretic problems. Recent inrestigations of Erdiis and Wintrier ? have shown the importance of the notion of statistical independence in number theory ; the purpose of this paper is to emphasize this fact once again. It may be mentioned here that we get as a particular case of our main theorem the following result : If v(m) denotes the number of prime divisors of ~1, and En the number of those integers from 1 up to 12 for which V(W) < lg lg ~1 + WV 2 lg lg )1 (W an arbitrary real number): then

Capacity Bounds and High-SNR Capacity of the Additive Exponential Noise Channel With Additive Exponential Interference
Communication in the presence of a priori known interference at the encoder has gained great interest because of its many practical applications. In this paper, additive exponential noise channel with additive exponential interference (AENC-AEI) known non-causally at the transmitter is introduced as a new variant of such communication scenarios. First, it is shown that the additive Gaussian ch...
متن کاملCompensation for Moral Damages arising from Medical Treatments in Iranian and American Law
Medical errors included diagnostic error, medication error, surgical error and also infections associated healthcare can causes creation economic and moral damages to the patient. In the meantime, uncertainties about how to evaluate and compensate moral damage as a result of these mistakes, has forced different legal system to adopt different approaches. This article will try to examine, Irania...
متن کاملGENERAL SYNCHRONIZATION OF COUPLED PAIR OF CHAOTIC ONE-DIMENSIONAL GAUSSIAN MAPS
In this paper we review some recent ideas of synchronization theory. We apply this theory to study the different synchronization aspects of uni-directionally coupled pair of chaotic one-dimensional Gaussian maps.
متن کاملOn the Gaussian Law of Errors in the Theory of Additive Functions.
In the present note we state without proofs some results concerning additive functions, the proofs of which depend partially on statistical methods. A function f(m) is called additive if for (ml, m) = 1 one has f(mr*ms) = f(mr) + f(mz). We assume furthermore that fw) = f(ip) and 1 f&) 1 < 1 for every prime p. None of these assumptions is essential but they simplify the statement of Theorem A.’ ...
متن کاملInformation Flow Decomposition in Feedback Systems: Linear Time-Invariant Systems with Gaussian Channels
In our companion paper [1], an information identity decomposition has been derived, which can be interpreted as a law of conservation of information flows in feedback systems. In this paper, we further investigate this decomposition result when specified to linear time-invariant(LTI) systems connected with additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channels. It is shown that the quantities in the deco...
متن کاملEvaluation and Application of the Gaussian-Log Gaussian Spatial Model for Robust Bayesian Prediction of Tehran Air Pollution Data
Air pollution is one of the major problems of Tehran metropolis. Regarding the fact that Tehran is surrounded by Alborz Mountains from three sides, the pollution due to the cars traffic and other polluting means causes the pollutants to be trapped in the city and have no exit without appropriate wind guff. Carbon monoxide (CO) is one of the most important sources of pollution in Tehran air. The...
