چکیده
ied from 1 to 500 pi. Plasma samples were obtained from EDTA-treated whole blood. Quantitation of Serum CEA by Radioimmunoassay. CEA levels in sera were determined by Todd-Egan double anti body radioimmunoassay (3) as modified by Laurence et a!. (7), using goat anti-CEA serum (Peanuts 12). CEA levels in plasma were determined either by indirect or direct Hansen Z-gel radioimmunoassay (6), as indicated below.

Application of a galactosidase immunosorbent test to carcinoembryonic antigen in plasma.
The galactosidase immunosorbent test for carcinoembryonic antigen is simple to perform, uses stable reagents, does not require radioactive reagents, and is adaptable to large numbers of samples. Concentration of carcinoembryonic antigen in sera or plasma was determined by the galactosidase immunosorbent test and by the Egan-Todd double antibody assay (93% agreement), indirect Z-gel (83% agreeme...
متن کاملAn aptasensor based on electrosynthesized conducting polymers, Cu2O–carbon dots and biosynthesized gold nanoparticles, for monitoring carcinoembryonic antigen
Current work proposes an inimitable composite, with great electrical conductivity and quite enhanced surface area, (including conducting polymers (poly (cathechol)), Cu2O–carbon dots and green synthesized gold nanoparticles) for detecting acute carcinoembryonic antigen. At current work, the electropolymerization was offered instead of enzyme-catalyzed polymerization of poly (catechol). <b...
متن کاملCarcinoembryonic Antigen Expression and Resistance to Radiation-and 5-Fluorouracil-Induced Apoptosis and Autophagy
Understanding the mechanism of tumor resistance is critical for cancer therapy. In this study, we investigated the effect of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) overexpression on UV-and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU)-induced apoptosis and autophagy in colorectal cancer cells. We used histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor, NaB and DNA demethylating agent, 5- azacytidine (5-AZA) to induce CEA expression in HT29...
متن کاملComparison of the Serum Level of Carcinoembryonic antigen, Prolactin, and Malondialdehyde in Patients Suffering from Breast Cancer and in Healthy individuals in Isfahan
Background & Objective: One of the most prevalent types of cancer among women is breast cancer. The objective of this study is to compare the serum level of tumor marker of Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA), Prolactin, and oxidative marker Malondialdehyde (MDA) in patients with breast cancer and in control groups. Materials & Methods: This case control study was carried out on the people wh...
متن کاملEvaluation of the Relationship between Peroxisome Proliferator Receptors (PPARα, PPARγ, and PPARδ) Expression and Carcinoembryonic Antigen (CEA) in Patients with Colorectal Cancer
Introduction: Studies have shown that an increase in carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) is associated with the progression of colorectal cancer and is considered a sensitive diagnostic factor for CRC. Moreover, the role of peroxisome proliferators (PPARs) has recently been considered in colorectal cancer. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the expression level of PPARs and CEA...
