چکیده

A hor i zon ta l e lectr ic dipole, loca ted a b o v e t he p lane in te r face of two n o n c o n d u c t i n g media , has a dipole m o m e n t wh ich is a n a r b i t r a r y b u t g iven func t ion of t ime w h e n t > 0 a n d which is zero w h e n t < 0. T rave l l i ng e l ec t romagne t i c waves, g e n e r a t e d b y th i s dipole, are ca lcu la ted w i t h t he a id of a mod i f i ca t ion of C a g n i a r d ' s m e t hod . Fo r t he electr ic field vec to r a b o v e a n d a t t he in te r face we o b t a i n express ions for t i le d i r ec t a n d ref lec ted waves in t he case t h a t t he ve loc i ty of l igh t in t he m e d i u m c o n t a i n i n g the source is t he la rger one.
