Pb–Graphene–Pb Josephson Junctions: Characterization in Magnetic Field
نویسندگان
چکیده
We fabricate superconductor–graphene– superconductor Josephson junctions with superconducting regions made of lead (Pb). The critical current through graphene may be modulated by the external magnetic field; the resulting Fraunhofer interference pattern shows several periods of oscillations, suggesting that the junction is uniform. Deviations from the perfect Fraunhofer pattern are observed, and their cause is explained by a simulation that takes into account the sample design.

Pb/InAs nanowire josephson junction with high critical current and magnetic flux focusing.
We have studied mesoscopic Josephson junctions formed by highly n-doped InAs nanowires and superconducting Ti/Pb source and drain leads. The current-voltage properties of the system are investigated by varying temperature and external out-of-plane magnetic field. Superconductivity in the Pb electrodes persists up to ∼7 K and with magnetic field values up to 0.4 T. Josephson coupling at zero bac...
متن کاملObservation of the Josephson effect in Pb/Ba1-xKxFe2As2 single crystal junctions.
We have fabricated c-axis Josephson junctions on single crystals of Ba1-xKxFe2As2 by using Pb as the counterelectrode in two geometries, planar and point contact. Junctions in both geometries show resistively shunted junction I-V curves below the T{C} of the counterelectrode. Microwave induced steps were observed in the I-V curves, and the critical currents are suppressed with an in-plane magne...

متن کاملSpontaneous Flux and Magnetic Interference Patterns in 0-π Josephson Junctions
The spontaneous flux generation and magnetic field modulation of the critical current in a 0−π Josephson junction are calculated for different ratios of the junction length L to the Josephsen penetration depth λJ , and different ratios of the 0-junction length to the π-junction length. These calculations apply to a Pb-YBCO c-axis oriented junction with one YBCO twin boundary, as well as other e...
متن کاملJosephson Current For a Graphene Nanoribbon Using a Lattice Model
A tight binding approach based on the Bogoliubov-de Gennes approach has been used to calculate the DC Josephson current for a lattice model for S-GNR-S junctions , for short junctions with respect to superconducting coherence length. We calculate the phase, length, width and chemical potential dependence at the Josephson junction and discuss the similarities and differences with regard to the t...
