چکیده

3. Assess the realism of the talking face. We plan to perform several psychophysical tests to evaluate the realism of our system. 4. Extend our approach using morphable model from TTVS to TTS. We plan to first study morphing of audio sequences. The system will take as input 2 audio sequences, and produce as output intermediate audio sequences that approximate natural exemplars lying between the 2 input sequences. Audio morphing might have important applications in speech synthesis.

Adaptive Man-Machine Interfaces MIT9904-15 Proposal for 1999-2000 Funding

We propose two significant extensions of our recent work on developing a textto-visual-speech (TTVS) system {Ezzat98}. Our existing synthesis module may be trained to generate image sequences of a real human face synchronized to a text-to-speech system, starting from just a few real images of the person to be simulated. We propose to 1) extend the system to use morphing of 3D models of faces -r...

An adaptive estimation method to predict thermal comfort indices man using car classification neural deep belief

Human thermal comfort and discomfort of many experimental and theoretical indices are calculated using the input data the indicator of climatic elements are such as wind speed, temperature, humidity, solar radiation, etc. The daily data of temperature، wind speed، relative humidity، and cloudiness between the years 1382-1392 were used. In the First step، Tmrt parameter was calculated in the Ray...

Artificial neural networks and machine learning for man-machine-interfaces - processing of nervous signals

Recently, Man-Machine-Interfaces contacting the nervous system in order to extract information resp. to introduce information gain more and more in importance. In order to establish systems like neural prostheses or Brain-Computer-Interfaces, powerful (real time) algorithms for processing nerve signals or their field potentials are required. Another important point is the introduction of inform...

In this project we aim to achieve two significant extensions of our recent work on developing a text-to-visualspeech (TTVS) system (Ezzat, Geiger, Poggio 2002). The existing synthesis module may be trained to generate image sequences of a real human face synchronized to a text-to-speech system, starting from just a few real images of the person to be simulated. We propose to 1) extend our morph...

Echoes and Noise with Seamless Acoustic Man-Machine Interfaces - The Challenge Persists

Within a general framework for seamless acoustic man-machine interfaces, common problems for different classes of applications are identified. Removing loudspeaker echoes, noise, and reverberation of local sources from microphone signals, and conditioning loudspeaker signals to eliminate reverberation and noise at a listener’s ears constitute problems of system identification and signal separat...
