چکیده
A self-assembled M(2)L(4) palladium-pyridyl cluster with a "paddle-wheel" structure shows binding affinity in competitive organic solvents for neutral organic guests that possess both the correct size and electrostatic complementarity.

Engineering Nano-aggregates: β-Cyclodextrin Facilitates the Thiol-Gold Nanoparticle Self-Assembly
The structure and morphology of nonmaterial formed by colloidal synthesis represent a subject of interest as it is a factor deciding the physicochemical properties and biological applications of nanostructures. Among various nanoparticles, gold can develop fractal assembled patterns. Herein, we report a nano-aggregate of a thiol-on-gold self-assembled structure and the influence of β-cyclodextr...
متن کاملSelective guest recognition by a self-assembled paramagnetic cage complex.
A cubic cage complex assembled from twelve bis-bidentate ligands and eight Co(II) ions provides a cavity that selectively recognises and binds coumarin in MeCN solution. The cage portals are large enough to allow guest exchange, but small enough to provide a kinetic trap; the cage paramagnetism facilitates detailed NMR analysis.

The synthesis of a centrally functionalized, ribbon-shaped [6]polynorbornane ligand L that self-assembles with Pd(II) cations into a {Pd2 L4 } coordination cage is reported. The shape-persistent {Pd2 L4 } cage contains two axial cationic centers and an array of four equatorial H-bond donors pointing directly towards the center of the cavity. This precisely defined supramolecular environment is ...
متن کاملNetworking a hollow cage via guest coordination.
A hollow coordination cage with a highly symmetric cavity was successfully self-assembled to form a 2D-network having a less symmetric cavity via networking of disordered guests with a metal connector.
متن کاملMolecular recognition by novel cage-type azaparacyclophanes bearing chiral binding sites in aqueous media
Novel cage-type cyclophanes which are constructed with two rigid macrocyclic skeletons, tetraaza[6.1.6.1 Iparacyclophane and tetraaza[3.3.3.3]paracyclophane, and four chiral bridging components were prepared. An asymmetric character of the internal cavity was clarified by means of circular dichroism (CD) spectroscopy and a computer-aided molecular modeling study based on molecular mechanics and...
