Mars, Earth Polar Congruencies, Antipodal Conjugacies

چکیده
The serm morphological, spin-axial, polar antipodal congruencies of Earth, Mars, Venus, extremely unlikely to have happened randomly, are concentric with hemispheric dichotomies, consistent with super huge impact tectonogenesis, otherwise inexplicable. The hemispheric dichotomies of Mars and Venus must be the effects of super huge impacts centred at what more or less were during Johnstonian impact, or became after spin re-adjustment, the N pole of Mars, the S pole of Venus.

Polar vortices on Earth and Mars: A comparative study of the climatology and variability from reanalyses
Polar vortices on Mars provide case-studies to aid understanding of geophysical vortex dynamics and may help to resolve long-standing issues regarding polar vortices on Earth. Due to the recent development of the first publicly available Martian reanalysis dataset (MACDA), for the first time we are able to characterise thoroughly the structure and evolution of the Martian polar vortices, and he...
متن کاملSeasonal erosion and restoration of Mars' northern polar dunes.
Despite radically different environmental conditions, terrestrial and martian dunes bear a strong resemblance, indicating that the basic processes of saltation and grainfall (sand avalanching down the dune slipface) operate on both worlds. Here, we show that martian dunes are subject to an additional modification process not found on Earth: springtime sublimation of Mars' CO(2) seasonal polar c...
متن کاملShape of the northern hemisphere of Mars from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA)
Eighteen profiles of ∼N-S-trending topography from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) are used to analyze the shape of Mars’ northern hemisphere. MOLA observations show smaller northern hemisphere flattening than previously thought. The hypsometric distribution is narrowly peaked with > 20% of the surface lying within 200 m of the mean elevation. Low elevation correlates with low surface r...
متن کاملComparison of the North and South Polar Caps of Mars:New Observations from MOLA Data and Discussionof Some Outstanding Questions
New high-resolution data from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) have provided detailed topographic maps for the north and south polar regions. These new data allow one to compare the overall topography and geologic histories of the two polar regions and to highlight some specific outstanding questions in Mars polar studies, following earlier comparisons using Viking and Mars Global Survey...
متن کاملSelf-sustaining Mars colonies utilizing the North Polar Cap and the Martian atmosphere.
A revolutionary new concept for the early establishment of robust, self-sustaining Martian colonies is described. The colonies would be located on the North Polar Cap of Mars and utilize readily available water ice and the CO2 Martian atmosphere as raw materials to produce all of the propellants, fuel, air, water, plastics, food, and other supplies needed by the colony. The colonists would live...
