Note on (De)homogenized Gröbner Bases
نویسنده
چکیده
By employing the (de)homogenization technique in a relatively extensive setting, this note studies in detail the relation between nonhomogeneous Gröbner bases and homogeneous Gröbner bases. As a consequence, a general principle of computing Gröbner bases (for an ideal and its homogenization ideal) by passing to homogenized generators is clarified systematically. The obtained results improve and strengthen the work of [LWZ], [Li1], [Li2], [Li3], and very recent [SL] concerning the same topic. 2000 Mathematics Classification Primary 16W70; Secondary 68W30 (16Z05).

On the (De)homogenization of Sagbi Bases
In this paper we study the relation between nonhomogeneous and homogeneous Sagbi bases. As a consequence, we present a general principle of computing Sagbi bases of a subalgebra and its homogenized subalgebra, which is based on passing over to homogenized generators.
متن کاملGröbner Bases, H–bases and Interpolation
The paper is concerned with a construction for H–bases of polynomial ideals without relying on term orders. The main ingredient is a homogeneous reduction algorithm which orthogonalizes leading terms instead of completely canceling them. This allows for an extension of Buchberger’s algorithm to construct these H–bases algorithmically. In addition, the close connection of this approach to minima...
