Fast and Efficient Generation of Loop Bounds

Current loop generation techniques are based on Fourier-Motzkin pairwaise elimination, which is known to be very memory-and computation-intensive. In this paper we explore an alternative way: the use of parametric linear programming, which allows to separate the computation of distinct loop bounds and leads to a parallel algorithm for loop generation. Une m ethode rapide et eecace pour la g en eration de bornes de boucles R esum e : Les m ethodes de g en eration de bornes de boucles sont pour la plu-part bas ees sur l' elimination de Fourier-Motzkin. Cependant, cette technique est connue pour sa grande complexit e temporelle et spatiale. Dans ce document nous nous int eressons a une approche alternative qui consiste a utiliser la pro-grammation lin eaire param etrique. Cette approche permet de s eparer les calculs de bornes distinctes et conduit a un algorithme parall ele pour la g en eration de boucles.
