Biomarqueurs du syndrome cardiorénal Biomarkers of cardiorenal syndrome

چکیده
Complex interactions existing between cardiac and renal diseases led to define 5 types of so-called cardiorenal syndromes. This classification is based on the organ primarily involved and the acute or chronic failure. The mutual impact of renal and cardiac functions makes it difficult to evaluate and manage patients with cardiorenal syndromes and worsen morbidity and mortality. This review seeks to discuss the place of biomarkers in diagnosis, management and follow-up of patients with cardiorenal syndromes. Biomarkers can be classified as functional (creatinine, cystatin C. . .) or lesional (neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin, urinary cystatin C. . .) renal markers and functional (natriuretic peptides. . .) or lesional (troponin, fatty acid binding pro409 Pour citer cet article : Kuster N, Moréna M, Bargnoux AS, Leray H, Chenine L, Dupuy AM, Canaud B, Cristol JP. A last kind of biomarkers reflects the dialogue between heart and kidney (renin-angiotensin-aldosteron-system, indicators of activation of arginine vasopressin system) or the systemic impact (inflammation, oxidative stress. . .). In order to evaluate accurately the complex interactions that are the basis of cardiorenal syndromes, a multi-marker approach seems nowadays necessary.

Nitric oxide mediated the effects of nebivolol in cardiorenal syndrome
Objective(s): Despite several proposed mechanisms for the pathophysiology of cardiorenal syndrome (CRS), the exact mechanism remains unclear. Nitrosative stress has been argued as a key mechanism recently. Nebivolol is a beta-blocker with nitric oxide (NO)-releasing effect. In the present study, NO-mediated effects of two different treatment regimes of nebivolol in CRS...

Introduction Cri du chat syndrome is a rare genetic disorder due to deletion of variable length of short arm of chromosome 5(5p). It mainly presents with typical cat like cry, facial dysmorphism, poor growth with feeding problems and severe cognitive, speech, and motor delays. Case Report We present here a one year old child who did not presented with typical features but presented with recurre...

PURPOSE OF REVIEW The purpose of the present review is to identify the mechanisms involved in the syndrome related to combined heart-kidney dysfunction. RECENT FINDINGS The bidirectionality of the syndrome and the various time frames involved in the different clinical pictures have induced to generate a new definition of the cardiorenal syndrome, focusing on five specific subtypes (acute card...

Background Nephrotic syndrome (NS) characterized by a large amounts of protein into urine and a set of indications that include: protein in urine, low blood protein levels, high cholesterol levels, high triglyceride levels, and swelling. Therefore, aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between prognosis of nephrotic syndrome and blood biomarkers level in children of Arak city, I...
