Theory and Implementation of Extensions to Time Delay Spectrometry

چکیده
Two new results are added to the theory of Time Delay Spectrometry (TDS). The rst is the discovery of a fundamental property of the complex linear frequency sweep. This property allows for perfect reconstruction of the desired spectrum. The second result is a reenement to the deenition of space equivalent bandwidth. Implementation issues are addressed and a computer simulation is described which exploits these new results. Precise expressions for error are developed.
