DIFFRACTION 2000: New Scaling Laws in Shadow Dynamics
نویسنده
چکیده
New scaling structure for the shadow corrections in elastic scattering from deuteron at high energies has been presented and discussed. It is shown that this structure corresponds to the experimental data on proton(antiproton)-deuteron total cross sections. The effect of weakening for the inelastic screening at superhigh energies has been theoretically predicted. Perceive the Triangle to see the Truth Pythagorean School

Three-body Forces, Single Diffraction Dissociation and Shadow Corrections to Hadron-Deuteron Total Cross-Sections
The relationships between the fundamental dynamics and diffraction phenomena in scattering from two-body composite system are discussed. A new simple formula for the shadow corrections to the total cross-section in scattering from deuteron has been derived and new scaling characteristics with a clear physical interpretation have been established. The effect of weakening the inelastic screening ...
متن کاملNonintegrability, chaos, and complexity
Two dimensional driven-dissipative flows are generally integrable via a conservation law that is singular at equilibria. Nonintegrable dynamical systems are confined to n≥3 dimensions. Even driven-dissipative deterministic dynamical systems that are critical, chaotic or complex have n-1 local time-independent conservation laws that can be used to simplify the geometric picture of the flow over ...
متن کاملModel of the Dynamic Construction Process of Texts and Scaling Laws of Words Organization in Language Systems
Scaling laws characterize diverse complex systems in a broad range of fields, including physics, biology, finance, and social science. The human language is another example of a complex system of words organization. Studies on written texts have shown that scaling laws characterize the occurrence frequency of words, words rank, and the growth of distinct words with increasing text length. Howev...
متن کاملDynamics and Scaling of Noise–Induced Domain Growth
The domain growth processes originating from noise-induced nonequilibrium phase transitions are analyzed, both for non-conserved and conserved dynamics. The existence of a dynamical scaling regime is established in the two cases, and the corresponding growth laws are determined. The resulting universal dynamical scaling scenarios are those of Allen-Cahn and Lifshitz-Slyozov, respectively. Addit...
متن کاملUniversal and nonuniversal features of glassy relaxation in propylene carbonate
It is demonstrated that the susceptibility spectra of supercooled propylene carbonate as measured by depolarized-light scattering, dielectric-loss, and incoherent quasielastic neutron-scattering spectroscopy within the GHz window are simultaneously described by the solutions of a two-component schematic model of the mode-coupling theory (MCT) for the evolution of glassy dynamics. It is shown th...
