Novel anticancer drugs utilizing data mining for substituent substitution within uramustine scaffold

چکیده
Uramustine (or uracil mustard, 5-aminouracil mustard, chlorethaminacil), is an bi-functional alkylating nitrogen mustard agent that utilizes a natural product to carry the nitrogen mustard group to a selective metabolite site. The potential for applying uramustine as a therapeutic drug appeared in the 60s, where its potential as a treatment tool for metastatic Wilmss tumor was notes (Wilms tumor or nephroblastoma, is a rare kidney cancer primarily affecting children).

متن کاملSubstituent effects on the pairing and polymerase recognition of simple unnatural base pairs
As part of an effort to develop stable and replicable unnatural base pairs, we have evaluated a large number of unnatural nucleotides with predominantly hydrophobic nucleobases. Despite its limited aromatic surface area, a nucleobase analog scaffold that has emerged as being especially promising is the simple phenyl ring. Modifications of this scaffold with methyl and fluoro groups have been sh...
