Noradrenaline clearance in hypertensive patients with various degrees of renal function.

چکیده
1. Hypertensive patients with normal renal function showed significantly higher plasma urinary noradrenaline than the normotensive controls, and the hypertensive patients with mild to moderate disturbance of renal function showed the same noradrenaline concentration as the controls. 2. Hypertensive patients with severe renal function disturbance showed significantly higher plasma noradrenaline concentrations and lower urinary noradrenaline excretion than the controls. 3. Noradrenaline clearance calculated by free plasma noradrenaline and total urinary noradrenaline was significantly decreased in those subjects with severe renal dysfunction. 4. Conjugated plasma noradrenaline was increased in the hypertensive patients with the severe disturbance of renal function, and conjugated urinary noradrenaline increased in those without severe renal dysfunction.

How much vancomycin dose is enough for the MRSA infection in pediatric patients with various degrees of renal function?
Today, an increase in vancomycin dose has been proposed to ensure efficacy. However, the risk of nephrotoxicity will increase with the dose. This study was aimed at evaluating the dosage regimens of vancomycin in pediatric patients based on pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) and to optimize dosage individualization. Population pharmacokinetics analysis was performed on 155 Chinese childr...

متن کاملNoradrenaline secretion by the human kidney.
1. In 20 subjects with uncomplicated essential hypertension, 10 of whom were on propranolol treatment, several blood samples were drawn simultaneously from the renal artery and vein after angiographic studies. In these samples we determined concentrations of noradrenaline, active renin, aldosterone and cortisol. 2. Renal blood flow was measured in all patients by Hippuran-clearance and xenon-wa...
متن کاملComparative Assessment of Neutrophil Gelatinase-Associated Lipocalin (NGAL) and Cystatin C as Early Biomarkers for Early Detection of Renal Failure in Patients with Hypertension
Background: Hypertension is one the most common causes of chronic kidney disease (CKD). One of the major concerns in hypertensive patients is early detection of renal disorders. In the past, serum creatinine (Scr) concentration was used as a marker of kidney function, but it proffers a late reflection of reduced glomerular filtration rate. Cystatin C and neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocal...
متن کاملPharmacokinetics and haemodynamic effects of the angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor cilazapril in hypertensive patients with normal and impaired renal function.
1. The pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic properties of the angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor cilazapril were studied in 30 hypertensive patients with various degrees of renal function. 2. After a single oral dose, apparent cilazaprilat clearance was dependent on renal function being 16.0 +/- 3.0, 11.1 +/- 3.0, 8.7 +/- 3.7 and 6.7 +/- 2.1 l h-1 (means +/- s.d.) in patients with cre...
