Efficient Global Programming Model for Discriminant Analysis
نویسنده
چکیده
Conventional statistical analysis includes the capacity to systematically assign individuals to groups. We suggest alternative assignment procedures, utilizing a set of interrelated goal programming formulations. This paper represents an effort to suggest ways by which the discriminant problem might reasonably be addressed via straightforward linear goal programming formulations. Simple and direct, such formulations may ultimately compete with conventional approaches free of the classical assumptions and possessing a stronger intuitive appeal. We further demonstrate via simple illustration the potential of these procedures to play a significant part in addressing the discriminant problem, and indicate fundamental ideas that lay the foundation for other more sophisticated approaches. This paper proposes an innovative procedure of finding efficient facility location–allocation (FLA) schemes, integrating data envelopment analysis (DEA) and a multi-objective programming (MOP) model methodology. FLA decisions provide a basic foundation for designing efficient supply chain network in many practical applications. The procedure proposed in this paper would be applied to the FLA pr...
متن کاملEfficient Analysis of Plasmonic circuits using Differential Global Surface Impedance (DGSI) Model
Differential global surface impedance (DGSI) model, a rigorous approach, has been applied to the analysis of three dimensional plasmonic circuits. This model gives a global relation between the tangential electric field and the equivalent surface electric current on the boundary of an object. This approach helps one bring the unknowns to the boundary surface of an object and so avoid volumetric...
متن کاملAn efficient modified neural network for solving nonlinear programming problems with hybrid constraints
This paper presents the optimization techniques for solving convex programming problems with hybrid constraints. According to the saddle point theorem, optimization theory, convex analysis theory, Lyapunov stability theory and LaSalleinvariance principle, a neural network model is constructed. The equilibrium point of the proposed model is proved to be equivalent to the optima...
متن کاملClustering Using Local and Global Exponential Discriminant Regularization
In recently reported clustering approaches, both local and global information were utilized in order to effectively learn nonlinear manifold in image dataset. However, in each of these clustering approaches, regularization parameter had to be included to handle small-sample-size (SSS) problem of linear discriminant analysis (LDA). Due to which, we have to optimize a number of clustering paramet...
