Code Generation for Discrete Event Controllers in Ptolemy II
ثبت نشده
چکیده
The goal of this project is to provide a code generation framework for discrete event (DE) control models for cyberphysical systems (CPS) in Ptolemy II [1]. This framework should be as generic and platform independent as possible. The generated code should be tested on a target platform. Ptolemy offers the possibility to embed the generated code into the simulation environment. The generated code should also be tested using this mechanism.

Verifying Ptolemy II Discrete-Event Models Using Real-Time Maude
This paper shows how Ptolemy II discrete-event (DE) models can be formally analyzed using Real-Time Maude. We formalize in RealTime Maude the semantics of a subset of hierarchical Ptolemy II DE models, and explain how the code generation infrastructure of Ptolemy II has been used to automatically synthesize a Real-Time Maude verification model from a Ptolemy II design model. This enables a mode...
متن کاملCode Generation for PTIDES Models
PTIDES is a programming model for distributed real-time embedded systems. PTIDES builds on Discrete-Event (DE) semantics and leverages a global notion of time throughout distributed platforms. Applications expressed in PTIDES models can be designed without any knowledge about the hardware platform upon which it is implemented, thus completely decoupling the design from the implementation. To br...
متن کاملVerifying hierarchical Ptolemy II discrete-event models using Real-Time Maude
This paper defines a real-time rewriting logic semantics for a significant subset of Ptolemy II discreteevent models. This is a challenging task, since such models combine a synchronous fixed-point semantics with hierarchical structure, explicit time, and a rich expression language. The code generation features of Ptolemy II have been leveraged to automatically synthesize a Real-Time Maude veri...
متن کاملCo-simulation of Event-B and Ptolemy II Models via FMI
In the framework of model-based design formal modelling, verification and simulation of safety-critical systems are supported by several methods and tools. Interfacing these tools often becomes challenging for heterogeneous systems. The FMI standard enables integration of different simulation tools through artefacts called Functional Mockup Units (FMU) [1]. The FMI standard is mainly based on t...
متن کاملMultimodeling: A Preliminary Case Study
We take a pre-existing Statecharts model of a simple traffic light controller and re-implement it in Ptolemy II. This exercise reveals that Statecharts can be usefully conceptualized as a hierarchical combination of two distinct models of computation (MoCs), finite state machines (FSMs) and synchronous/reactive (SR). Once conceptualized this way, we can add additional MoCs to the mix. We illust...
