diet. Quinine injection (gr. 5) repeated. Evening temperature?99.4?F. Condition much better. One tablet of quinine bihydrochloride (gr. 5) was swallowed. Blood films?Degenerated rings ++. 18th June. Morning temperature?99?F. Evening temperature?99.6?F. Alkaline mixture two tablets of quinine bihydrochloride (gr. 10) were ordered daily. No other complications appeared and he took solid food (rice) and talked distinctly. Blood examination?Rings (degenerated) a few only. 19th June. Temperature normal. Blood showed no parasites.
