However, there appears to be little evidence to support this practice.1, There is understandable concern about ceasing urinalysis in pregnant women without evidence for the benefit or safety of this change, particularly for those who may develop proteinuria before hypertension. Thus, an important question is: can urine testing in pregnancy be eliminated without delaying the diagnosis of pre-eclampsia? We determined whether routine urinalysis during pregnancy should be continued in women with normal results of both urinalysis and microscopic examination of urine at their first antenatal visit.

Objective Selection of sperm for intra-cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) is usually considered as the ultimate technique to alleviate male-factor infertility. In routine ICSI, selection is based on morphology and viability which does not necessarily preclude the chance injection of DNA-damaged or apoptotic sperm into the oocyte. Sperm with high negative surface electrical charge, named “Zeta p...

Background: Children with blunt abdominal trauma (BAT) can be risk stratified for intra-abdominal injury (IAI) through a combination of readily accessible clinical variables. The aim of this study was to identify ultrasound and laboratory studies that accurately identify IAI while limiting unnecessary CT-scan among children without injury. Materials and Methods We conducted a prospective, obse...

Background: To assess whether Bromocriptine Rebound Method (BRM), can improve pregnancy outcomes after intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) cycles. Materials and Methods: In this prospective study, we analyzed data from a total of 117 women who underwent ICSI cycles. Pregnancy outcomes and hormonal data were compared between long protocol and BRM groups. Ovulatory women with normal serum pro...
