چکیده
Fusion nuclear technology (FNT) research in the United States encompasses many activities and requires expertise and capabilities in many different disciplines. The US Enabling Technology program is divided into several task areas, with aspects of magnet fusion energy (MFE) fusion nuclear technology being addressed mainly in the Plasma Chamber, Neutronics, Safety, Materials, Tritium and Plasma Facing Component Programs. These various programs work together to address key FNT topics, i a a i ©

Double Langmuir probe measurement of plasma parameters in a dc glow discharge
In this paper, plasma main characteristics such as electron mean temperature, electron number density, and oscillation frequency have been measured experimentally using the double Langmuir probe diagnostic system. In our experiment, the plasma was generated by applying the low pressure dc glow discharge in several common gases. The experimental results indicated the highest plasma density and o...
متن کاملOverview of Fusion Blanket R&d in the Us over the Last Decade
Developing a vision for an economically competitive fusion energy system remains the grand challenge for fusion researchers. Meeting this challenge requires advances in plasma physics and in fusion technology, a key element of which is Fusion Power Technology (FPT), also called Fusion Nuclear Technology (FNT). FPT is concerned with all reactor components in the immediate exterior of the plasma,...
متن کاملInvestigation of metal hydrides applicability as neutron moderator and shielding by MCNPX
In this research, the applicability of several metal hydrides as neutron moderator and shielding for D-D fusion sources has been investigated by MCNPX code. The results have been investigated in three steps to find the materials with lower thermal, fast and total neutron fluxes than conventional shielding materials. The results show relative advantages of LaNi5H6, VH, TiH2, TaH, Mg (BH4)2, YH2,...
متن کاملAn overview on Ga-68 radiopharmaceuticals for positron emission tomography applications
Gallium-68 a positron emitter radionuclide, with great impact on the nuclear medicine, has been widely used in positron emission tomography (PET) diagnosis of various malignancies in humans during more recent years especially in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). The vast number of 68Ge/68Ga related generator productions, targeting molecule design (proteins, antibody fragments,...
متن کاملI-10: The Oocyte Express Way to Reprogramming Supports Double Nucleus Transplantation
Studies on cell fusion-mediated nuclear reprogramming have led to the breakthrough of the induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cell technology. While this technology has neared stem cells to applications more than any other method, the mechanistic bases of reprogramming remain largely unsolved. In this context, comparative studies of oocyte and cell fusion-mediated reprogramming hold the greatest pro...
