چکیده

Event-triggered control is developed to reduce the communication load in networked control systems. This means that output or actuator signals are only transmitted over the network when an event-triggering condition is violated which is designed such that a certain control performance can be guaranteed. This paper considers event-triggered control subject to actuator saturation for linear systems. Therefore we present a method to estimate the domain of attraction which represents a contractive invariant set. The contractive invariant set is estimated by an ellipsoid which is determined by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI) optimization problem. Further a controller synthesis design considering the event-triggering condition in our criterion is given to maximize the contractive ellipsoid. Simulations are given to illustrate the results.

Actuator saturation and anti-windup compensation in event-triggered control

Event-triggered control aims at reducing the communication load over the feedback link in networked control systems by sending information only if certain event conditions, which guarantee a desired control performance, are satisfied. This article investigates the consequences of actuator saturation on the behavior of the event-triggered control loop in terms of its stability and information ex...

Stabilization of Networked Control Systems with Variable Delays and Saturating Inputs

In this paper, improved conditions for the synthesis of static state-feedback controller are derived to stabilize networked control systems (NCSs) subject to actuator saturation. Both of the data packet latency and dropout which deteriorate the performance of the closed-loop system are considered in the NCS model via variable delays. Two different techniques are employed to incorporate actuator...

Decentralized Integral-Based Event-Triggered Stabilization for Linear Plant with Actuator Saturation and Output Feedback

This paper studies the integral-based event-triggered asymptotic stabilization for a continuous-time linear plant. Both actuator saturation and observer-based output feedback are considered. The sensors and actuators are implemented in a decentralized manner and a type of Zeno-free decentralized integral-based event condition is designed to guarantee the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop ...
