Calibrating Camera Shake Photographs Using Parallel De-Convolution
نویسنده
چکیده
Camera shake causes images to be blurry. There are many techniques to de-blur an image. The process of removing image blur is called de-convolution. There are many different techniques for performing the de-convolution of images. In this paper, we propose a parallel de-blur algorithm inspired by Fergus et al. in [1]. The algorithm is performed by first estimating the blur kernel, then de-convolving the blurred image with that kernel in order to obtain the original clear image. The proposed parallel algorithm has a run time of O(log N). The algorithm is verified and tested.

Removing camera shake blur and unwanted occluders from photographs. (Restauration des images par l'élimination du flou et des occlusions)
This thesis investigates the removal of spatially-variant blur from photographs degraded by camera shake, and the removal of large occluding objects from photographs of popular places. We examine these problems in the case where the photographs are taken with standard consumer cameras, and we have no particular information about the scene being photographed. Most existing deblurring methods mod...
متن کاملRemoving Camera Shake from a Single Photograph
Camera shake during exposure leads to objectionable image blur and ruins many photographs. Conventional blind deconvolution methods typically assume frequency-domain constraints on images, or overly simplified parametric forms for the motion path during camera shake. Real camera motions can follow convoluted paths, and a spatial domain prior can better maintain visually salient image characteri...
متن کاملSpace-Variant Single-Image Blind Deconvolution for Removing Camera Shake
Modelling camera shake as a space-invariant convolution simplifies the problem of removing camera shake, but often insufficiently models actual motion blur such as those due to camera rotation and movements outside the sensor plane or when objects in the scene have different distances to the camera. In an effort to address these limitations, (i) we introduce a taxonomy of camera shakes, (ii) we...

Hand held long exposures often result in blurred photographs due to camera shake. Long exposures are desirable both for artistic effect and in low-light situations. We propose a novel method for digitally reducing imaging artifacts, which does not require additional hardware such as tripods or optical image stabilization lenses. A series of photographs is acquired with short shutter times, stab...
متن کاملAutomatic perspective rectification of documents photographed with a camera
Using an incorrect lens, or camera shake can cause the perspective of photographs to be tilted or skewed. The perspective may be distorted, and is more evident in photographs containing continuous vertical lines or geometric shapes. This paper deals with perspective distortion together with skew distortion rectification of a document image file to make its content more easily comprehendible for...
