چکیده

a f(x, y) dy, it is often important to know when F is differentiable and when F (x) = ∫ b a f1(x, y) dy. A sufficient condition for differentiating under the integral sign is that ∫ b a f1(x, y) dy converges uniformly; see [6, p. 260]. When we have absolute convergence, the condition |f1(x, y)| ≤ g(y) with ∫ b a g(y) dy < ∞ suffices (Weierstrass M-test and Lebesgue Dominated Convergence). If we use the Henstock integral, then it is not difficult to give necessary and sufficient conditions for differentiating under the integral sign. The conditions depend on being able to integrate every derivative. If g : [a, b] → R is continuous on [a, b] and differentiable on (a, b) it is not always the case that g is Riemann or Lebesgue integrable over [a, b]. However, the Henstock integral integrates all derivatives and thus leads to the most complete version of the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus. The Henstock integral’s definition in terms of Riemann sums is only slightly more complicated than for the Riemann integral (simpler than the improper Riemann integral), yet it includes the Riemann, improper Riemann, and Lebesgue integrals as special cases. Using the very strong version of the Fundamental Theorem we can formulate necessary and sufficient conditions for differentiating under the integral sign.

Some Divergent Trigonometric Integrals

1. Introduction. Browsing through an integral table on a dull Sunday afternoon some time ago, I came across four divergent trigonometric inte-grals. (See (1) and (2) below.) I was intrigued as to how these divergent integrals ended up in a respectable table. Tracing their history, it turned out they were originally " evaluated " when some convergent integrals, (5) and (6), were differentiated u...

Adaptive and intelligent control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) using a combination of fuzzy logic and gray wolf algorithm under fault condition

Nowadays, permanent magnet synchronous motors have been widely used in industry due to the elimination of excitation losses, longer life and higher efficiency. Errors in engine and drive systems are unavoidable during operation. Therefore, a suitable scenario should be considered for when these systems fail. If the necessary predictions and control algorithms are not considered for the error co...

Existence of positive solution to a class of boundary value problems of fractional differential equations

This paper is devoted to the study of establishing sufficient conditions for existence and uniqueness of positive solution to a class of non-linear problems of fractional differential equations. The boundary conditions involved Riemann-Liouville fractional order derivative and integral. Further, the non-linear function $f$ contain fractional order derivative which produce extra complexity. Than...

Sign patterns that require eventual exponential

Sign patterns that require exponential nonnegativity are characterized. A set of conditions necessary for a sign pattern to require eventual exponential nonnegativity are established. It is shown that these conditions are also sufficient for an upper triangular sign pattern to require eventual exponential nonnegativity and it is conjectured that these conditions are both necessary and sufficien...
