A Non-standard Analysis of Aumann-Shapley Random Order Values of Non-atomic Games
نویسنده
چکیده
Using techniques from the non-standard analysis, a non-standard analogue of the AumannShapley random order value of non-atomic games is provided. The paper introduces the notion of effectively ergodic family of automorphism groups. It is shown that for a wide class of games, the non-standard random order value with respect to an effectively ergodic family of automorphism groups coincides with the standard Aumann-Shapley value. Potentials and Weighted Values of Nonatomic Games
The “potential approach” to value theory for finite games was introduced by Hart and Mas-Colell (1989). Here this approach is extended to non-atomic games. On appropriate spaces of differentiable games there is a unique potential operator, that generates the Aumann and Shapley (1974) value. As a corollary we obtain the uniqueness of the Aumann-Shapley value on certain subspaces of games. Next, ...
متن کاملConstruction of Haar Measure on Projective Limit Group and Random Order Values of Non-atomic Games 1
By superimposing a group structure on a sequence of projective probability spaces of Lebesgue measure preserving (l.m.p.) automorphisms of unit interval, the paper extends the Daniel-Kolmogorov consistency theorem that enables the construction of a measurable group structure with invariant Haar probability measure on an uncountably large projective limit space. The projective limit group is the...
متن کاملValues of smooth nonatomic games : the method of multilinear approximation
In their book Values of Non-Atomic Games, Aumann and Shapley [1] define the value for spaces of nonatomic games as a map from the space of games into bounded finitely additive games that satisfies a list of plausible axioms: linearity, symmetry, positivity, and efficiency. One ofthe themes of the theory of values is to demonstrate that on given spaces of games this list of plausible axioms dete...
متن کاملValues of Mixed Games 1 )
AUMANN and SHAPLEY [1973] have investigated values of games in which all players are individually insignificant, i.e. form a non-atomic continuum, or "ocean". In this paper we treat games in which, in addition to such an ocean, there are also some "atoms", i.e. players who are individually significant. We define spaces of such games that are analogous to those investigated by AUMAI, m and SHAPL...
متن کاملRisk capital allocation and cooperative pricing of insurance liabilities
The Aumann–Shapley [Values of Non-atomic Games, Princeton University Press, Princeton] value, originating in cooperative game theory, is used for the allocation of risk capital to portfolios of pooled liabilities, as proposed by Denault [Coherent allocation of risk capital, J. Risk 4 (1) (2001) 1]. We obtain an explicit formula for the Aumann–Shapley value, when the risk measure is given by a d...
