The PRESAGE database for structural genomics
نویسندگان
چکیده
The PRESAGE database is a collaborative resource for structural genomics. It provides a database of proteins to which researchers add annotations indicating current experimental status, structural predictions and suggestions. The database is intended to enhance communication among structural genomics researchers and aid dissemination of their results. The PRESAGE database may be accessed at http://presage.stanford.edu/

Sensitivity Optimization for a New Radio-Chromic Dosimeter (PRESAGE)
Introduction: Different dosimetric modalities (e.g., ionization chambers, semiconductors, TLDs, radiographic films) often have some problems determining isodose curves and percentage depth doses in high dose gradient regions. Research has been ongoing to develop portable high resolution dosimetry devices with accurate absolute dosimetry capabilities and easy data analysis. The ‘PRESAGE’ dosimet...
متن کاملThe SUPERFAMILY database in structural genomics.
The SUPERFAMILY hidden Markov model library representing all proteins of known structure predicts the domain architecture of protein sequences and classifies them at the SCOP superfamily level. This analysis has been carried out on all completely sequenced genomes. The ways in which the database can be useful to crystallographers is discussed, in particular with a view to high-throughput struct...
متن کاملIntroduction to Informatics Approaches in Structural Genomics: Modeling and Representation of Function from Macromolecular STructure
Despite the advantages provided by the enormous recent increases in the availability of structural information, functional assignment for the large number of proteins represented in the sequence and structural genomics projects remains a pressing problem for genomic era biology. This section describes work relevant to this problem from several perspectives, including new approaches that take ad...
متن کاملIntegration of Databases for Functional Rice Genomics by Using Agents
The current trend in biology research is evolving from structural genomics to functional genomics. In the field of rice research, using an insertional mutant is a powerful method for finding gene functions. However, a well-designed database using insertional mutant data is not available yet in the area of rice functional genomics. The relevant data are widely distributed and independently manag...
