Unidirectional 28Mg21 fluxes were measured at various transepithelial PD values, and the unidirectional mucosal-to-serosal 28Mg21 flux (Jms Mg) was correlated with the PD across the apical membrane (PDa) determined by mucosal impalement with microelectrodes.
