Active Organisations for Routing

چکیده
Communications networks require increasingly complex resource management to stay up and running. This is particularly true in networks which aim to provide some guaranteed quality of service (either explicitly as in ATM and other connection-oriented architectures or implicitly as in a smoothly running IP network). The resulting increased complexity of routing procedures needs to be handled in a coordinated and exible manner. This control could well be provided by customisable control programs in the network which rely on the computational capabilities provided by active nodes. Not only will control programs need to act independently and autonomously but they will also need to coordinate their actions with each other to ensure that decisions in the network are taken in a coordinated and consistent manner. This paper presents a framework for organising groups of control programs for routing tasks in a network. The organisation is able to adapt its own structure over time as the state of the network changes.

Discovery and Mapping of the Dutch National Critical IP Infrastructure
The research project entails the mapping and subsequent analysis of the AS-level interconnections between the organisations active as the Dutch critical infrastructure. The discovery of the organisations’ AS representation utilises exclusively public sources of information and uses a two-pronged approach. First, a bottom-up process is used—starting from the complete list of Dutch ASNs we select...

Considering the great significant role that routing protocols play in transfer rate and choosing the optimum path for exchange of data packages, and further in the amount of consumed energy in the routing protocol, the present study has focused on developing an efficient compound energy algorithm based on cluster structure which is called active node with cluster structure. The purpose of this ...

Routing is an important challenge in WSN due to the presence of hundreds or thousands of sensor nodes. Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is a hierarchical routing and data dissemination protocol. LEACH divides a network domain into several sub-domains that are called clusters. Non-uniformity of cluster distribution and CHs selection without considering the positions of other sens...

In recent years, routing has been the most focused area in ad hoc networks research. On-demand routing in particular, is widely developed in bandwidth constrained mobile wireless ad hoc networks because of its effectiveness and efficiency. Most proposed on-demand routing protocols are built and relied on single route for each data session. Whenever there is a link disconnection on the active ro...
