Pervasive Computer Management: A Model of Network Policy with Local Autonomy
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present a model for policy based management, stressing the role of decisive autonomy in generalized networks. The organization and consistency of agent cooperation is discussed within a cooperative network. We show that some simple rules can eliminate formal inconsistencies, allowing robust approximations to management. Using graph theoretical ranking methods, we evaluate also the probable consistency and robustness of cooperation in a network region. Our theory makes natural contact with social network models in building a theory of pervasive computing. We illustrate our model with a number of examples.

As mobile data traffic increases, and the number of services provided by the mobile network increases, service load flows as well, which requires changing in the principles, models, and strategies for media transmission streams serving to guarantee the given nature of giving a wide scope of services in Flexible and cost-effective. Right now, the fundamental question remains what number of netwo...
متن کاملU-Form vs. M-Form: How to Understand Decision Autonomy Under Healthcare Decentralization?; Comment on “Decentralisation of Health Services in Fiji: A Decision Space Analysis”
For more than three decades healthcare decentralization has been promoted in developing countries as a way of improving the financing and delivery of public healthcare. Decision autonomy under healthcare decentralization would determine the role and scope of responsibility of local authorities. Jalal Mohammed, Nicola North, and Toni Ashton analyze decision autonomy within decentralized services...
متن کاملServices Management Using Context Information, Ontologies and the Policy-Based Management Paradigm: Towards Integrated Management in Autonomic Communications
The management of pervasive services on next generation networks involves self-management capabilities for improving performance and achieving interoperability necessary to support current and next generation services. This paper introduces a case study on an ontology-based, policydriven architecture for managing pervasive services using context information. The architecture employs ontologies ...
متن کاملLink Prediction using Network Embedding based on Global Similarity
Background: The link prediction issue is one of the most widely used problems in complex network analysis. Link prediction requires knowing the background of previous link connections and combining them with available information. The link prediction local approaches with node structure objectives are fast in case of speed but are not accurate enough. On the other hand, the global link predicti...
متن کاملFormal Method in Service Composition in Heath Care Systems
One of the areas with greatest needs having available information at the right moment and with high accuracy is healthcare. Right information at right time saves lives. Healthcare is a vital domain which needs high processing power for high amounts of data. Due to the critical and the special characteristics of these systems, formal methods are used for specification, description and verificati...
