چکیده

The Bose distribution for a gas of nonrelativistic free bosons is derived in the framework of qp-deformed second quantization. Some thermodynamical functions for such a system in D dimensions are derived. Bose-Einstein condensation is discussed in terms of the parameters q and p as well as a parameter ν ′ 0 which characterizes the representation space of the oscillator algebra. Monte Carlo study of phase transitions out of symmetry-enriched topological phases of bosons in two dimensions

We study a statistical mechanics model of two species of bosons with mutual statistics θ = 2π/n in (2+1) dimensions. This model realizes a fractionalized topological phase of bosons, which is a fractionalized version of the boson integer quantum Hall effect. The model can be studied with sign-free Monte Carlo simulations. We study the phase transitions between the fractionalized topological pha...

Physique Nucléaire de Lyon IN 2 P 3 - CNRS et Université Claude Bernard 43 Boulevard du 11 Novembre 1918

The concept of a quantum algebra is made easy through the investigation of the prototype algebras uqp(2), suq(2) and uqp(1, 1). The latter quantum algebras are introduced as deformations of the corresponding Lie algebras ; this is achieved in a simple way by means of qp-bosons. The Hopf algebraic structure of uqp(2) is also discussed. The basic ingredients for the representation theory of uqp(2...

Finite Element Simulation of Contact Mechanics of Cancer Cells in Manipulation Based on Atomic Force Microscopy

The theory of contact mechanics deals with stresses and deformations which arise when the surfaces of two solid bodies are brought into contact. In elastic deformation contact occurs over a finite area. A regular method for determining the dimensions of this area is Hertz Contact Model. Appearance of atomic force microscope results in introduction of Contact ...
