چکیده

In this work the study of the ferromagnetic resonance and of the electrical conductivity in the perovskite sample, Ba2FeMoO6, is presented. Double perovskite has been manufactured by conventional ceramic method sintering in an inert gas atmosphere. Electrical conductivity, of about 1000–1400 S/m, presents metallic behavior in the ferromagnetic region and semiconducting response in the paramagnetic zone. FMR linewidths have been measured at 8.9GHz from 200 to 350K. A decrease in the linewidth with increasing temperature has been obtained. This behavior has been attributed to the presence of valence exchange mechanism, which takes place in samples with Fe cations. Electrical conductivity measurements corroborate this fact: the activation energy obtained in the paramagnetic zone, 0.03 eV, is close to the magnitude of Fe–Fe hopping. r 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. Two-dimensional ferromagnetic ordering and magnetoresistance in the layered perovskite La222xCa112xMn2O7

The resistivity and magnetization of layered perovskite La222xCa112xMn2O7 have been studied systematically using bulk samples with a wide doping concentration range 0<x<0.5 and epitaxial thin film samples with x50.3. The system becomes a metallic ferromagnet for doping concentrations 0.22<x<0.5. In this doping region, results for bulk samples as well as for thin films have clearly shown that th...

Ferromagnetic transition in the double - exchange model on the pyrochlore lattice

The double-exchange model, which has been extensively studied in the context of colossal magneto-resistance in perovskite manganese oxides, is known to exhibit a ferromagnetic metallic state at low temperatures because of the interplay between localized moments and itinerant electrons through the Hund’s-rule coupling. Here we investigate numerically the ferromagnetic transition in the double-ex...

Evolution of the intrinsic electronic phase separation in La0.6Er0.1Sr0.3MnO3 perovskite

Magnetic and electronic transport properties of perovskite manganite La0.6Er0.1Sr0.3MnO3 have been thoroughly examined through the measurements of magnetization, electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR), and resistivity. It was found that the substitution of Er3+ for La3+ ions introduced the chemical disorder and additional strain in this sample. An extra resonance signal occurred in EPR spectra at...

Distinct insulating state below the Curie point in Pr 0

Magnetization, resistivity, thermal expansion, thermopower, and neutron powder diffraction data are presented for the perovskite manganite Pr0.7Ba0.3MnO3. A distinct ferromagnetic insulating state, similar to that observed in the La0.88Sr0.12MnO3 system, is observed in the temperature range between the paramagneticferromagnetic transition at TFM'180 K and the broad metal-insulator transition ne...

Ferroelectric Domain Imaging Multiferroic Films Using Piezoresponse Force Microscopy

Recently, multiferroic materials with the magnetoelectric coupling of ferroelectric (or anti‐ ferroelectric) properties and ferromagnetic (or antiferromagnetic) properties have attracted a lot of attention.[1-4] Among them, BiFeO3(BFO) and YMnO3has been intensively studied. For such ABO3perovskite structured ferroelectric materials, they usually show antiferromag‐ netic order because the same B...
