Controlling EMI with A Chaotic Peak Current-mode Boost Converter

چکیده
In this paper, a novel boost converter is designed where its current mode control is dependent on two reference currents and an external clock. A detailed study on its dynamics is carried out based on its corresponding current mapping function. As demonstrated in both simulations and experiments, by operating the proposed boost converter in its chaotic mode, the electromagnetic interference can be reduced and the ripples of the converter’s output are greatly suppressed.
