1970年,北 海 道 にHand,foot and mouth disease の 大 き な流 行 の あつ た 際 に,Coxsackie A 16と こ の ウ イル ス 以外 にCoxsackie Aウ イ ル ス が分 離 され た. これ らの うち,帯 広,旭 川,札 幌 の3地 区 の 患者153 名 か ら,サ ル 腎 初 代 培 養 細 胞 に よつ てCoxsackie A 16 が79株(51.6%),未 同定 の ウイ ル ス が25株(16.3%) が分 離 され た. 一 方 ,同 一 被 検 体 を 哺 乳 マ ウス接 種 に よつ て,Coxsackie A 16が61株(39.9%)分 離 され た ほ か に,Coxsackie A4が17株(11.1%),A5が27株(17.6%),A6 が63株(41.2%),A10が9株(5.9%)が 分 離 され た.
