The simulation a group of human plays an important rule in many computer graphics application such as computer games and walkthrough system. One of the common terms that refer to this simulation of a group of human is crowd simulation. In order to create a realistic and believability crowd simulation, collision avoidance is one of the trivial issues. In recent years, there are many significant researches and techniques have been developed pertaining collision avoidance handling in crowd system. This paper will give an overview on collision avoidance in crowd simulation. The discussion and explanation covers issues and techniques in crowd system.
