چکیده

Three dimensional numerical simulations of the response of a Lorentz factor 2.5 relativistic jet to precession at three different frequencies have been performed. Low, moderate and high precession frequencies have been chosen relative to the maximally unstable frequency predicted by a Kelvin-Helmholtz stability analysis. Transverse motion and velocity decreases as the precession frequency increases. Although helical displacement of the jet decreases in amplitude as the precession frequency increases, a helical shock is generated in the medium external to the jet at all precession frequencies. Complex pressure and velocity structure inside the jet is shown to be produced by a combination of the helical surface and first body modes predicted by a normal mode analysis of the relativistic hydrodynamic equations. The surface and first body mode have different wave speed and wavelength, are launched in phase by the periodic precession, and exhibit beat patterns in synthetic emission images. Wave (pattern) speeds range from 0.41c to 0.86c but beat patterns remain stationary. Thus, we find a mechanism that can produce differentially moving and stationary features in the jet. A supermassive binary black hole in the quasar 3 C 345

Radio loud active galactic nuclei present a remarkable variety of signs indicating the presence of periodical processes possibly originating in binary systems of supermassive black holes, in which orbital motion and precession are ultimately responsible for the observed broad-band emission variations, as well as for the morphological and kinematic properties of the radio emission on parsec scal...

Non-Relativistic Limit of Neutron Beta-Decay Cross-Section in the Presence of Strong Magnetic Field

One of the most important reactions of the URCA that lead to the cooling of a neutron star, is neutron beta-decay ( ). In this research, the energy spectra and wave functions of massive fermions taking into account the Anomalous Magnetic Moment (AMM) in the presence of a strong changed magnetic field are calculated. For this purpose, the Dirac-Pauli equation for charged and neutral fermions is ...

Ultra- Relativistic Solitons with Opposing Behaviors in Photon Gas Plasma

We have studied the formation of relativistic solitary waves due to nonlinearinteraction of strong electromagnetic wave with the plasma wave. Here, our plasma isrelativistic both in temperature and in streaming speed. A set of equations consisting ofscalar and vector potentials together with a third order equation for the enthalpy inphoton gas plasma is obtained analytic...

Inductive and electrostatic acceleration in relativistic jet-plasma interactions.

We report on the observation of rapid particle acceleration in numerical simulations of relativistic jet-plasma interactions and discuss the underlying mechanisms. The dynamics of a charge-neutral, narrow, electron-positron jet propagating through an unmagnetized electron-ion plasma was investigated using a three-dimensional, electromagnetic, particle-in-cell computer code. The interaction exci...

Evaluation of Turbulence on the Dynamics of Monopile Offshore Wind Turbine under the Wave and Wind Excitations

In recent years, the use of offshore wind turbines has been considered on the agenda of the countries which have a significant maritime boundary due to more speed and stability of wind at sea. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of wind turbulence on the aero-hydrodynamic behavior of offshore wind turbines with a monopile platform. Since in the sea, the wind turbine structures ar...
