Hydrogen-Deuterium Exchange in Adenosine 5'-Monophosphate Detected by Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS)

چکیده
Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering, Hydrogen Exchange, Nucleic Acids The enhanced Raman effect from 5'-AMP adsorbed on the roughened silver surface is used to characterize hydrogen-deuterium exchange. SERS spectra of 5'-AMP present in HzO and D20 solutions at rather low concentrations were recorded in the spectral range of 2000 to 3500 cm-1. Surface enhanced Raman bands in this spectral range are found to increase in intensity, relative to bands of normal Raman solution spectra. In addition, one notes that the CH and CD stretching vibrations, almost obscured by H ,0 or D ,0 scattering, now stand out clearly.

The active substrates in surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) spectroscopy were prepared through self-assembly of nanoparticles on functionalized glasses. Colloidal silver nanoparticles (Ag NPs) were prepared chemically in two different sizes by reduction of AgNO3 using trisodium citrate and sodium borohydride. Gold–silver core–shell nanoparticles were also prepared to compare between the o...
متن کاملFT- SERS Study of Adriamycin - DNA Intraction
FT-SERS (Fourier Transform Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering) of adriamycin and its complex with DNA is reported. It is shown that in agreement with previous Raman studies the interaction of adriamycin with DNA takes place through an intercalation mechanism. The presence of a new band at 731 cm-1 suggests that ring D of adriamycin is not involved in the intercalation process.

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) is a promising tool in the analytical science because it provides good selectivity and sensitivity without the labeling process required by fluorescence detection. This technique consists of locating the target analyte on nanometer range of roughed Au-nanoparticles. The presence of the metal nanoparticles provides a tremendous enhancement to the result...

In this study, we prepared adenosine triphosphate (ATP) encapsulated liposomes, and assessed their applicability for the surface enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)-based assays with gold-silver alloy (Au@Ag)-assembled silica nanoparticles (NPs; SiO₂@Au@Ag). The liposomes were prepared by the thin film hydration method from a mixture of l-α-phosphatidylcholine, cholesterol, and PE-PEG2000 in chlor...
